Tesla Set to Tighten Grip on Competitive SUV Market
Elon Musk is determined to increase Tesla’s market share in the American SUV market, as evidenced by the company’s fifth price cut this year. Despite its high starting price, the Model Y was one of the top-selling SUVs in the US last year. Tesla has since reduced the Model Y’s starting price by 24% and made it eligible for federal tax credits, making it more affordable and competitive with other premium SUVs.
Higher sales of the Model Y could lead to increased revenue and profitability for Tesla, making it more attractive to investors. A strong market position for the Model Y could also demonstrate Tesla’s ability to succeed in the highly competitive SUV market, further boosting investor confidence in the company’s future prospects. If the Model Y becomes the top-selling SUV in the US, it could have a significant positive impact on Tesla’s investment.

Wealth Makes You Live Longer
The life expectancy chart by the Global Health Data Exchange reveals that there is a significant difference in life expectancies between states in the US. Intriguingly. the chart from the University of Minnesota reflects that states with higher average annual income are the states that have higher life expectancies.
People living in states where life expectancy is lowest — where average household income is also lower — tend to live around 20 years less than those in states where life expectancy is highest.
